The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. The app is good at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you can wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain.
